Privacy Policy

Introduction

MoveMofos ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Mission Mofos mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use the App.

By using the App, you consent to the data practices described in this policy. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the App.

Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

  • Account Information: Email address, first name, and last name provided during registration.
  • User-Generated Content: Journal entries, goals, visions, milestones, affirmations, anchor moments, non-negotiable habits, activity logs, and any other content you create within the App.
  • Usage Data: App interaction patterns, feature usage, and session information to help us improve the App experience.
  • Device Information: Device type, operating system version, and unique device identifiers for app functionality and troubleshooting.
  • Subscription Data: Subscription status and transaction receipts processed through Apple's App Store and RevenueCat for subscription management.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the App's features and services.
  • Authenticate your identity and manage your account.
  • Process and manage your subscription.
  • Sync your data across devices associated with your account.
  • Send important service-related communications (e.g., security alerts, Terms updates).
  • Analyse usage patterns to improve the App experience.

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a cloud database platform with enterprise-grade security. All data is encrypted in transit using TLS and at rest using AES-256 encryption.

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We share data only with the following service providers who are essential to operating the App:

  • Supabase: Cloud database and authentication. Stores your account and user-generated content.
  • RevenueCat: Subscription and payment management. Processes transaction receipts to verify subscription status.
  • Apple: App Store purchase processing and subscription management.

These providers are bound by their own privacy policies and data protection obligations. We only share the minimum data necessary for each service to function.

Biometric Data

The App offers optional Face ID / Touch ID authentication for convenience. Biometric data is processed entirely on your device by Apple's frameworks and is never transmitted to or stored on our servers.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correction: Update or correct inaccurate personal information.
  • Deletion: Request permanent deletion of your account and all associated data.
  • Portability: Request your data in a portable format.
  • Withdraw Consent: Stop using the App at any time.

Account Deletion

You can request account deletion through the App (Settings > Delete Account) or by emailing support@missionmofos.com from the email associated with your account.

Upon deletion, all your personal data and user-generated content will be permanently removed from our systems within 30 days. This action cannot be undone.

Note: Deleting your account does not automatically cancel your subscription. Please cancel your subscription through Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions before deleting your account.

Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for use by children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 16, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.

Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the App's services. If you delete your account, your data will be permanently removed within 30 days.

We may retain certain anonymised, aggregated data that cannot be used to identify you for analytical purposes.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the revised policy within the App and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
